Beloved wife of Richard Pasinski; loving mother of Justin Pasinski, Richard Pasinski, Jr., Shelby (Ricky) Knox and Jamie (Chuck) Laputka; daughter of the late Findlay C. and Phyllis (Oliver) Wylie; sister of Evelyn Wylie, Findlay C., III (Jodi) Wylie and the late Terry Wylie; grandmother of Cameron, Gino, Kevin, Carson, Avery, Emily, Sydney, and Landon; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Janice was a graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute Mortuary of Science in 1999 and was a nurse at the VA Hospital as well as co-owner of the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home, Inc. HELEN (DENLINGER) WISE Age 99, of Murrysville, PA, formerly of Wilkinsburg, PA, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late Percy and Lillian Denlinger; beloved wife of the late Charles W. Wise, Jr. of 60 years; devoted mother of Barbara J. Hughes and Charles W. (Barbara) Wise, III; loving grandmother of Tracy (Patrick) Dailey, Brian (Sharon) Hughes, C. Wesley (Deanna) Wise and Sara (Josh) Haynes; cherished great-grandmother of nine great-grandchildren. Helen graduated Wilkinsburg High School in 1938 and then graduated as an RN from Children's Hospital in 1941. She worked as an RN in Columbia Hospital in Wilkinsburg during WWII and for many years, before assuming the role of the Industrial Nurse at Nabisco Products in East Liberty in 1964. She retired in 1982 and began the rest of her rich life. Retirement brought extensive International Travel, serving others. Square-dancing, competitive games, gardening, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and Friday nights at Hoffstott's. She was a loyal member of South Avenue United Methodist Church for over 75 years where she enjoyed supporting Meal Ministry and baking communion bread until age 99. She was adventuresome and fun loving, could laugh at herself, and her care giving spirit served as a model for all of us. For her family, she served as a rallying point for many memorable occasions and her memory will continue to do so. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 4 at 2 p.m. at Redstone Highlands 4953 Cline Hollow Road, Murrysville, PA 15668. DEBRA E. (LINDO) LOADER It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of a beloved wife and loving mother, Debra E. (Lindo) Loader on December 31 2019, at the age of 65. Debbie was born on July 28, 1954 in Etna, PA to the late Ed and Shirley Lindo and was the eldest of four siblings. After living in Bermuda for 30 plus years, she returned home to Pittsburgh after her and her husband, Charlie, retired in August, 2019. As a Friend of Bill W. for 38 years, Debbie helped and sponsored countless individuals and she touched the lives of anyone who ever had the honor of meeting her. Debbie is survived by her husband of 29 years, Charles Loader of Bermuda; her children, Shelley (John) Kennedy of Middlesex Twp. and Kenny (Sayward) Lehman of Wexford; her brothers, Jeff (Nancy) Lindo of Cheswick and Tracy (Susan) Lindo of Lower Burrell; her grandchildren, Amber, Anslee, Kaydi, Lorelei, and Nicholas; her great-grandchildren, Curtis III and Carter; and numerous nieces and nephews. GLENN RICHARD ALMASY A loving husband and devoted father of three passed away Monday, December 30, 2019 at the age of 86. Glenn was born on July 15, 1933, in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Otto and Ethel Almasy. He received his Journeymen Wiremen's ticket in 1960. In October of 1953, he married Geraldine “Gerry” Conley whom he leaves behind along with his twin daughters, Debby Almasy and Karen Brown; son, Glenn R. Almasy, II; grandsons, Justin (Erica) Brown and Christopher (Michelle) Brown; great-grandchildren, Dylan Corso-Brown, Harper Brown and Oliver Brown; sister, Gail Haney; brother, Jack Almasy; brother in law, Robert Conley; he is also survived by nieces and nephews. Glenn was a long standing member of the Moose 298 Universal Golf League, a 65-year IBEW member as well as President of IBEW retiree club and was an avid golfer with IBEW local 5 golf club. He spent many winters hunting with his son Glenn and best Friend Red Jelenik at their hunting camp. From coaching his son's Penn Hills little league team to supporting his grandsons in Oakmont soccer and baseball Glenn devoted his time and resources tirelessly. Glenn received great enjoyment from watching young athletes mature. Glenn and Gerry traveled extensively with Christopher and Justin to watch their competitive hockey games. Roy, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, peacefully passed away at the age of 89 years. Roy will be forever remembered by his beloved wife of 69 years, Mary Ann Johnson (Curl). PAUL HARASEVIAT Age 89, of Moon, passed away at home Tuesday, December 31, 2019, surrounded by his loving and devoted family. Paul was born February 5, 1930 in Jeannette, PA to the late Michael Haraseviat and Catherine (Lenio) Haraseviat. Paul was a graduate of Jeannette High School, class of 1947. He then received his Aircraft and Powerplant License from Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. He proudly served in the US Air Force during the Korean War from 1949 to 1952, where he continued his aircraft maintenance skills, earning the title of Senior Aircraft Mechanic. For 40 years, he was employed as an aircraft technician with USAirways, retiring in 1992. Paul was a faithful member of St. Margaret Mary and St. Joseph Catholic Churches. Paul leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 67 years, Goldie M. (Libengood) Haraseviat and his five children, Michael (Denise) Haraseviat, Gallatin, TN, James (Mary Alice) Haraseviat, Moon, Paula (Maurice) Zaffina, Greensburg, Sandra (John) Turpin, Stanley, NC, Mark (Alexis) Haraseviat, Zelienople; grandchildren, Chanel (Simon) Yoder, Leah Turpin, Maurissa Zaffina, Candace Haraseviat, Laura Lee Zaffina (Chad Nowak), Marcus Zaffina, Brenna Turpin, Rodney (Cheryl) Jones, Brandon (Erin) Jones; and four great-grandchildren. JOHN A. PATSEY, SR. Age 84, of Penn Hills passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 1, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth R. Patsey who preceded him in death on September 15, 2019. Grandfather of 19 and great-grandfather of two. John was a longtime member of St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church. He received his BS in Physics from Salem College. John had a 35 year career with US Steel as a Metallurgical Engineer, having two patents to his name. He enjoyed golf, taking his kids fishing, and long walks. He enjoyed people watching and loved his family dearly.
