GIRGASH PATRICIA A. Patricia A. Girgash, age 87, of McKeesport, passed away surrounded by her loving family on October 14, 2017. She is survived by her children, Gary (Cheryl) Girgash and Barbara Girgash; grandchildren, Halie and Steven Girgash; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Girgash; and parents, Esther and William Koenig. She was a Sewickley Valley Hospital graduate in 1950, worked in numerous hospitals throughout the Pittsburgh region, and retired from Jefferson Hills Convalescent Home. During her life, she was known as the neighborhood nurse and was a lover of animals. She was an avid boater, enjoyed water skiing, and spending summers at camp. As a youth, she enjoyed sports, such as basketball, and was the captain of the Avalon High School field hockey team. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, 2-4 and 6-8 at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236.
