BARTOS MICHELE M. Age 69, of Penn Hills, PA, passed away November 26, 2017, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pgh. Born December 16, 1947, in Pittsburgh, to the late Harry E. and Margaret P. (Griffin) Bruce. Wife of the late Charles J. Bartos, who passed in 2008; also predeceased by two sisters, Roseann Khan and Carol Bruce. Michele worked in IT for Highmark for 40 years. She had a love of the arts, both directing and performing. She was formerly active with the Penn Hills Players, the McKeesport little theater, and the Penn Hills High School musicals. More recently she was an associate director for the Riverview School District Musicals for the past 18 years. Michele also enjoyed spending time with friends, family, and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Christopher A. (Traci) Bartos, of Marshall Twp.; three grandchildren, Sydney, Alexandra, and Owen Bartos; a brother, Harry Sonny E. Bruce, of Plum; also survived by several nephews and a niece. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., in the SOXMAN FUNERAL HOMES, LTD., 7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road), Penn Hills. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 10 a.m. at St. Susanna Catholic Church. Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
