Markowitz; beloved mother of Dr. Nathan Robert Markowitz and Lesley Sheila Petty; daughter of the late Hilda (Berger) and Louis Cantor; sister of Eric David Cantor and the Late Sammy Cantor, Solomon Israel "Sid" Cantor, Enid Sameroff, and Faye Betty Cantor; grandmother of Aaron M. (Jennifer) Markowitz, Andrew C. (Marlene) Markowitz and Dr. Lindsey Taylor (Anthony) Surace; great-grandmother of Jack Alexander Markowitz, Leo Jacob Markowitz, Max Joseph Markowitz, Jacob Gabriel Markowitz and Ana Pearl Surace. Also survived by nieces and nephews; dearest neighbor, Donna Feige; and her loving pet, Rudy. Stella was the most wonderful mother the luckiest person could ever have.
