REED JAMES P. II Age 69, of Springdale Twp., passed away suddenly Monday morning, April 2, 2018, at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born June 20, 1948, in Pittsburgh, to the late Robert H. and Lois J. (Hunter) Reed. Jim retired from H.J. Heinz Company, Pittsburgh. He was a member of Verona Methodist Church, an avid reader, and his family was his number one priority. Jim also enjoyed classic and antique cars and architecture. Survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Adele (Smith) Reed; his children, Kathy Reed of Springdale Twp., J.D. (Jaime) Reed of Pittsburgh, Alissa (Denny) Lape of Turtle Creek; brother of Glenn (Ella) Reed of Harmar Twp., David Reed of Pittsburgh, Edna (late Charles) Kennedy of Tarentum, and the late Thomas Reed and Betty Brown; grandfather of Edward, Brandon, Justin, Megan, Devin, John, Jordan, Julia, Jessica, Daniel, and Samantha. Friends and relatives will be received at BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont, Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Services Thursday morning 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev.
