DELLAPINA CHARLES D. Charles, 69, of McDonald, Robinson Twp., died Saturday, March 31, 2018, in Canonsburg Hospital. He was born August 13, 1948, in Bulger, a son of the late Peter and Mary Romitti Dellapina. Mr. Dellapina was employed as a security officer at the Meadows Casino. He was a graduate of Canon-McMillan Class of 1966. He worked for many years as an electronic technician and also taught at the Votech School. He was a member of Houston American Legion Post #902, PNA White Eagles Lodge #1746 of Canonsburg and a social member of the Slovene National Benefit Society Lodge #138 of Strabane. Surviving are brothers, Robert Dellapina of Boulder, CO; and nephew, Louis (Donna) Dellapina of Alexandria, OH; also surviving are many cousins and his sister-in-law, Mary Jane Dellapina of McDonald. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Louis and Peter Dellapina. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the THOMAS-LITTLE FUNERAL SERVICE, INC., 314 W. Lincoln Avenue, McDonald (724-926- 2800). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Alphonsus R. C. Church, McDonald.
