CHOMKO JOHN Born at 400 Forest Ave. in Monessen, PA on July 15, 1925, as a son of Ukrainian immigrants. He was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Monessen and a fine Carpenter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Tillie Chomko; sisters, Mary Zimmerman, Ann Brindak, Olga Chomko, and Helen Joyce; brothers, Peter, Steve, and Nick Chomko. Surviving are a sister-in-law, Martha Mae Chomko; numerous nieces and nephews; the members of St. Nicholas Church of Monessen; and a dear friend, George Mazur. Glory to Jesus Christ! Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the RHOME FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, where friends will be welcomed on Friday, April 27, 2018, from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Monessen.
