
MAGDSICK JUNE STEVENS Of Upper St. Clair, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at the age of 98. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Davis Magdsick; and brother, Brad Stevens. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Paul and Nannie Stevens. She was mother to son, Steve and his wife, Rhonda; and daughter, Anne Miller, who survives her husband, Mark Miller. June was the beloved grandmother of Meredith Conboy, Jason Magdsick, and Carson and Scott Miller. She was also great-grandmother to Isabella Miller; and aunt to six nieces and nephews. June graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 1938 where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. Thereafter she began a 35-year career with the American Red Cross starting as a vocational counselor in St. Louis. After her marriage and birth of her children, she became a volunteer at the Red Cross in Pittsburgh where she was Chairman of Volunteers and the representative of the Pittsburgh chapter to the Eastern Area Advisory Council of Fairfax, Virginia. June was a longtime member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where she served as an elder. She was also a tutor at the Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council. Arrangements by BEINHAUERS, 724-941-3211. A Memorial Service will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2040 Washington Road in Upper St. Clair at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2015.
