MITSCH ROBERT J. “BOB” OF MT....

MITSCH ROBERT J. “BOB” Of Mt. Lebanon, went to be with his Heavenly Father, on Sunday, October 25, 2015. Born in Pittsburgh on February 23, 1935, he was the son of the late Frederick and Mercedes Hergenroeder Mitsch. Beloved husband for 44 years of Joan Mack Bond Mitsch; loving father of Maureen Bond Broge and Kathleen Bond Lukasik (Doug); cherished grandfather of Emily Lukasik Peters, Regis Broge, Calvin Broge, Angela Broge and Ian Lukasik; brother of Don Mitsch (Bonnie), and the late Fred Mitsch, Jack Mitsch and Mary Lou Wolff; brother-in-law of Ann Mitsch, Dorothy Mitsch, Carol and Dan McConnell, Regis and Vicki Mack and the late Jim Wolff. He will be greatly missed by his many adoring nieces, nephews and dear friends. Bob was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and Duquense University. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army from 1957-1963 and was a self-employed CPA. Bob enjoyed golfing in the Mt. Lebanon Men's Golf League and was an active member of St. Bernard Church. He was passionate about all things in his life, especially family, getting together with old friends, traveling, reading and watching movies, Ocean City, NJ and building model airplanes. Bob will be bringing family and friends together at LAUGHLIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, from 2-8 p.m. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Bernard Church on Thursday, October 29, 2015, at 11:30 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
