Family was the centerpiece of Rose's life. She was a loving, gentle, and steadfast mother - both teacher and caregiver. Her grandchildren especially cherished her humor and playful ways. She found joy in life's simple pleasures - a bird's song, the sunshine, a simple poem - always thankful for its many gifts. She celebrated with her large and extended family in good times, and provided welcomed respite in times of grief. Her warmth and sincerity endeared her to family, friends, and caretakers alike. She will be dearly missed. Please offer condolences at www.schellhaasfh.com Send condolences post-gazette.com/gb
