GAWLAS LYNNE Age 80, on Monday, December 17, 2018, of Penn Hills, formerly of Park Place, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Lynne was a graduate of the Presbyterian School of Nursing, and a poet. Her poems were published in numerous local journals and newspapers and in 2001 she self-published a book of poems titled Just Warm Enough. Lynne was a member of the Forest Hills Garden Club. She is survived by her sister, Jill Herman (Stanley); her children, Lisa Obney, Amy Broz (James), and Gregory Gawlas; niece, Darcy Herman; granddaughters, Jenny and Sarah Broz and Kayla Burbidge; and many cherished friends.
