
BUZOGANY JOHN Age 93, formerly of Robinson Township, passed away peacefully on Nov. 26, 2015, after a long illness. John is survived by his children and their spouses, Ilona (Carl Schott) of Tampa, FL, Lisa (Joseph Avant) of Charleston, SC, and John David (Carl Hower) of Key West, FL; John had three grandchildren, John Avant, Sam Schott and Ben Schott; as well as five great-grandchildren, Joey, Melissa, Sam, Katie, and Alexa. John was predeceased by his wife, Betty (Elizabeth Lengyel). He and Betty had numerous nieces and nephews and many friends in Pittsburgh, PA. John served valiantly in the US Navy in World War II, sailing in submarine-infested waters. He helped protect the sea lanes between Rio de Janeiro and Palermo, Italy. John was a torpedoman. After the war, John worked at Blaw-Knox Steel Corporation until his retirement and re-invention as a carpenter. Before moving to the Southeastern U.S. to be with his children, John had been a Founding Member of the Coraopolis Presbyterian Church. John had many interests in life including hunting, fishing, gardening and reading. He was an avid Steelers fan no matter where he lived. As a resident of the V.A. Veterans Victory Home in Walterboro, SC, John had been in Hospice Care. He had requested no services be held in favor of being cremated and his remains interred with his wife Betty's in the Florida National Cemetery in the Spring of 2016.
