BEESON JAMES M. Age 65, of Bethel Park, on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, with his loving family and friends surrounding him. Son of the late Merle and Elizabeth Beeson; devoted and beloved husband of Susan Lea Beeson for 46 years; cherished father of Kimberly (Beeson) Gmiter (James), M. Russell Beeson (Kristi), of Bethel Park, and Katie J. Beeson (London, UK); adored grandfather ("Dit", Pop, and Pap) of James Russell Gmiter and Landon James Beeson of Bethel Park, and Hannah, Hallie, and Braden Beeson of Pfluegerville, Texas; brother-in-law of James and Alice Yearsley of Tampa, Florida; uncle of Amy Lea Yearsley Thomas (Paul) of Ft. Myers, Becky Yearsley Signore (Mark) of Philadelphia, Mary Elizabeth Lynch (Hugh), of Hoffman Estates, IL, Wendy Enzor (Gary) of Tampa, Florida; as well as five great-nieces and nephews. Jim was a dedicated and loyal friend of William Schohn, of Lima, Peru. There are many and much loved "kids" who he adopted, coached, and mentored, too numerous to list. His sweetest and loyal dogs, Gracie, Sophie and Sam, and everyone knows "the potty-mouth parrot" Pete. Jim was a retired steelworker and most recently retired from the Bethel Park Police Dept. as Communications Officer. And everyone who knew him, knew of his dedication and love for Notre Dame. He was a 45 year life member of the Bethel Park Volunteer Fire Co. There will be no visitation. The family invites you to join them in celebrating Jim's life at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2015, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, McMurray, PA.
