
FAY ROBERT B., Jr. Age 53, of Mars, PA passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2015. He was born in Pittsburgh on September 15, 1962, to Robert B. Fay, Sr. and Celine Braun Fay. He graduated from Mercersburg Academy in 1981 and Lehigh University in 1985. He joined his father and brothers in the family business, Joseph B. Fay Company. Bob was a member of the Construction Association of Western PA, The Master Builders Association, and Trustee for the Operating Engineer Pension Plan. He was an avid hunter and member of the Safari Club International. He loved being with family and friends and cared deeply for his nieces and nephews. He was a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins and was a master tailgater. He was very talented and meticulous in everything he did. He had an extraordinary eye for Art. He is survived by his father, Robert B. Fay, Sr. of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Joseph B. Fay and wife, Linda, of San Antonio, TX, Shawn M. Fay, Sr. and wife, Heidi, of Jensen Beach, FL; four sisters, Kathy Gilchrist and husband, Vic, of Roanoke, VA, Patty Brown and husband, Rob, of Slippery Rock, Laura Ziemba and husband, Michael, of Mebane, NC, and Kelly Hendricks and husband, Jeremy, of Conifer, CO. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Joe, Celena, Shawn Michael, Ryan, Kate, Gray, Cori, Casey, Toby, Luke, Tristen, Zachary and Laird. He was preceded in death by his mother; and his nephew, Breandan. Funeral Services will be held at the SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock on Sunday, December 6, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. James Lewis of Butler, presiding.
