YOUNG JAMES E. JIM Age 84, of Scott Twp., formerly of Crafton, peacefully on Thursday, December 10, 2015, with his family at his side. Husband of the late Carol (Kanoza) Young; beloved father of Barbara (Bill) Joyce and Dolores Dody (Don) Olzak and James R. (Kimberly) Young; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; dear brother of Marjorie Johnson, Kathy (Lageman) McVicker and the late Richard Young; also survived by nieces, nephews and friends. Jim was a member of the American Legion Frank R. Kirk Post 145 (Legion Service 7 p.m. Sunday) and the Knights of Columbus Council 875. He was also a Korean War veteran with the US Navy and a teacher with the Pittsburgh Public Schools for over 30 years. Friends received 6-8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. at the SCHEPNER - McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, 165 Noble Ave., Crafton where the Blessing Service will be held 9 a.m. Monday.
