Son of the late Mario and Dolores "Dee" (Miller) Valen; brother of the late Betty Lou (surviving husband Stephen) Pekich; uncle of Deborah (Allan) Demchek, Stephen (the late Luann) Pekich, John Pekich, Beth Ann Borowski, Julia (Jeffrey) Edder, Anthony Pekich and the late Theresa Pekich; great-uncle of Renae (Jesse) Myers, Deborah Borowski, Patrick Borowski, Ashley Edder, William Pekich and Jeffrey Edder, Jr.; great-great- uncle of Daemian and Halanea Myers; also survived by cousins and friends.
