MANION JIM Age 83, of Bethel Park, passed away, on Sunday, January 3, 2016. Beloved husband of 61 years to Libby Manion; loving father of James R. (Dolly) Manion III, Daniel A. (Regina) Manion, Luanne M. (John) Snyder, John K. (Molly) Manion and the late Kathleen Ann Manion; proud grandfather of Anna, Bonnie, Jennifer, Thomas, Joshua and Ryan; and great-grandfather of Jackson. Jim worked for NASA and Westinghouse before retiring from the Naval Weapons Center. He was a proud veteran, serving in the Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the Bethel Park Lions Club, VFW Post 6664, American Legion Post 760, and the South Hills Veteran Honor Guard where he served as a Chaplain. Jim will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Friends will be received on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at PAUL L. HENNEY MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Bethel Park. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, 10 a.m., at St. Valentine Catholic Church.
