They retired to Venice, Florida in the early 1980s and became active in the Epiphany parish ministries, including the migrant families mission. Her concern for young pregnant girls led Mary to help start the Pregnancy Care Center, where she served as president for six years. She is survived by seven of her children, Maura LeCroy and her husband, Carl, Allen Brown, Phil Brown and his wife, Peggy, Beth O'Brien and her husband, Dan, Chris Goodwin and her husband, Bryan, Greg Brown, and Patricia Gordon.
