NAYLOR ELIZABETH (LESNIK) Age 77, of Pittsburgh, passed away at 5:56 p.m. on Monday evening, January 4, 2016, at the Family Hospice facility in Lawrenceville. Elizabeth (also known as "Betty" by her family and "Liz" by her friends) was born October 24, 1938. She was the daughter and first born of the late John Robert and Rose Lesnik. She is survived by her sister, Irene Lesnik Corl; brother, John Robert Lesnik; sons, David Naylor and Sean Naylor; and three granddaughters, Jordan, Madison and Miranda; and foster son, William Butch Dunlap; and grandsons, Timothy and Mark. Elizabeth was a Class of '56 graduate of East McKeesport High School. In the late 1960s, Elizabeth was a foster parent to several children in need, most of whom she stayed in contact with for many years. She was active in many causes over her lifetime, including Heart and Hand House in West Virginia, the United Farm Workers, Native American affairs and campaigning for Barack Obama on his first run for the Presidency. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and daughter. Elizabeth was a free spirit and enjoyed life. Throughout life, she dreamed of living near the beach. After retiring, she finally, although briefly, had the opportunity to live her dream until suffering a stroke a few months later. Arrangement by ELMER L. HERMAN FUNERAL HOME.
