Born Lois Mae Lucas in Braddock, PA, she worked for the U.S. Department of Justice, and also was a real estate agent in PA and VA. Battistoni is survived by her husband, Raymond August Battistoni; daughter, Lynne Marie Senko of Cary, NC; grandson, David; granddaughter, Dana; one great-granddaughter; and sister, Carol Martin of Silver Spring, MD.
