COLONELLO JOHN E. Age 85, of Valencia, on Aug. 1, 2015. Beloved husband for 57 years of the late Mary Joan (Broderick) Colonello; loving father of John (Paula Jean) Colonello, Richard Colonello, Thomas Colonello and William (Wendy) Colonello; brother of Rocco "Pete" Colonello, and the late Edward, Francis, and Anthony; proud grandfather of nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; also survived by many nieces and nephews. John worked for over 40 years for Bell Telephone. He was President of union Local 40 for 20 years. John had been retired for 20 years. He was Treasurer of BS Investment Club for 10 years. John was a 1948 graduate of Mars High School, where he was Drum Major of the band and was a standout basketball player. In 1980, he was inducted into the Mars Sports Hall of Fame. He loved hunting and fishing, yard work, golf, gambling and all Pittsburgh sports teams.
