WOLOWSKI NORMAN ALBERT Age 85, of Finleyville, died peacefully in his sleep, Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at his home. He was born August 6, 1930, in Pittsburgh, the middle son of John and May Cook Wolowski. Norman was a devoted husband who met his wife, Ethel Webster, at Camp Christian and they married in 1954. They were long term residents of Finleyville where they raised six children and welcomed over 100 foster kids into their home. He enjoyed working on small engines, loved antique cars and his favorite memories were family camping vacations. He also was a member of Brightwood Christian Church. Mr. Wolowski was retired as a customer service representative with CarQuest Auto Parts in Finleyville and also was employed at the former Finleyville Auto Parts. Surviving are two sons, Richard Wolowski and his wife, Kristen of Ada, Michigan and Sean Wolowski of Finleyville; three daughters, Bonnie Basso and Shirley Wolowski, both of Gastonville and Nancy Wolowski of Finleyville; seven grandchildren, Jamie, Christy, Nicole, Jackie, Page, Sam and Seth; one great-grandchild, Patrick; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death are his wife, Ethel Webster Wolowski, who died in February of 1998; and a son, William Wolowski; and two brothers, John and Richard Wolowski. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, January 30, 2016, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, directly followed by a memorial service at KEGEL FUNERAL HOME, INC., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, David P. Kegel, director, 3560 Washington Avenue, in Finleyville. Private interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.
