CLIFFORD LORRAINE (GIMBER) Age 86, of Aspinwall, passed from this life on Sunday, August 2, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Francis Pat Clifford; devoted mother of Patrick (Donna) Clifford, Dennis (Beverly) Clifford, Colleen (T.R.) Parry, and Matthew Clifford; cherished grandmother of Alexandra and Tatiana Clifford, Ryan and Shaelyn Parry, and Matthew and Connor Clifford; loving sister of Dolores Musher and the late Marion Gimber and Bernice Gimber. Lorraine was born to the late Geneva and Harry Gimber of Pittsburgh's North Side on September 18, 1928. She attended St. Boniface Elementary School and graduated from St. Benedict Academy, having never missed a day of school in 12 years. She resided in Aspinwall for over 60 years where she was a member of St. Scholastica Catholic Parish, Aquinas Guild, former president of Christian Mothers, liturgical choir, and various bowling leagues. A very generous person, throughout decades she volunteered her time with Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Meals on Wheels, and her parish - sewing hundreds of baptismal bibs. Lorraine will forever be dearly missed by the many people who loved her. NO VISITATION. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at St. Scholastica Church, 309 Brilliant Avenue, Aspinwall. Interment private.
