KOST ELIZABETH BETTY Passed away at her home in Allison Park, PA on Wednesday, February 10, 2016. Betty was born on March 7, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Andrew Kost and Marian Seifried Kost. Betty was a Graduate Nurse of St. Francis Hospital. She attended La Roche College and the University of Seattle, where she obtained a Master's Degree in Pastoral Ministries. Throughout her life, Betty was a nurse at Divine Providence Hospital, Pastoral Minister at St. Bonaventure, and a Coordinator of Pastoral Care at Meadville Medical Center. In retirement, Betty volunteered at hospice organizations as well as Passavant Hospital. She was also a member of the Bereavement Ministry for St. Mary Church in Glenshaw. Left to cherish Betty's memory are her siblings, Mary Ann Nicholas (Victor, deceased), Katherine Martier (Charles), Monica Rios (Thomas), Andrew Kost (Debbi), Carol Hoke (Michael, deceased); 20 nieces and nephews; and 35 great- nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass celebrating Betty's life will be conducted for family and friends at a later date.
