TEYSSIER GEORGE, Jr. Age 88 years old, of Canonsburg, formerly of Heidelberg, died Saturday, February 20, 2016, in Washington Hospital. He was born December 6, 1927, in Heidelberg, son of the late George and Isabelle Teyssier, Sr. He served as a corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was very proud of his Bronze Star. He was a member of Chartiers Valley United Presbyterian Church, lifetime member of American Legion Post 290 Scott Twp., former Mason and Heidelberg Fireman. He was always willing to help anyone. He volunteered at his church and in the community, and at the Trolley Museum in Washington. He worked as a Draftsman at McGraw-Edison, and for Deci Corporation. He retired as a self-taught Locksmith. Surviving are many cousins and friends. There will be no visitation. Everyone is invited to celebrate his life at a service in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, on Monday, February 29, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., with Pastor Hilary Livingston, officiating. Full military honors accorded by the VFW 191 Honor Guard, Canonsburg and U.S. Army.
