KEEFE MARYALICE (SMITH) Age 86, of Latrobe, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2015, at Walnut Ridge Memory Care. She was born on September 25, 1928, in Timblin, PA, a daughter of the late John Smith and Anna (Colish) Smith. Maryalice was a member of Holy Family Church. She was active in Holy Family school, Girl Scouts, and Latrobe Little League. She was an avid gardener and bird watcher. Maryalice was a gracious, generous and gentle soul. She had a fine, inquisitive mind, and a sincere devotion to her family and friends. She was genuinely beloved and admired by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. Keefe; and a brother, John W. Smith. Maryalice is survived by three daughters, Kathleen A. Keefe, Barbara J. Keefe, and Beverly J. Keefe; and she is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Family and friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 601 Weldon Street, Latrobe. A funeral Liturgy will be held at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Very Rev. Daniel C. Mahoney, VF officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
