BOYD SUSAN B. SUSIE Age 74, of Peters Twp., went to join her beloved husband, five days later, on Wednesday, March 2, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Richard Dick Boyd; loving mother of Katherine (Eric) Boyd Mzik, Christine (Matt) Boyd Krovisky, Richard (Jennifer) Boyd, Jr., and Jim (Jennifer) Boyd; grandmother of Briar, Gunther, Parker, RJ, Wilson, Emmie, Duncan, Michael, Sawyer, Shane and Alaina. Susie was born in Stamford, CT on August 14, 1941, to the late Stanley and Katherine Berg. She graduated Denison University in Granville, OH and received her Master's degree in Education from the University of Pittsburgh. Susie taught third grade at Hoover Elementary School in Mt. Lebanon until the birth of her first child, after which she made her life as a homemaker. She was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority and P.E.O. Susie was a member, greeter and Eucharistic Minister at St. Benedict the Abbott Church. She was an avid swimmer and beach lover. Susie will be remembered for her elegance, sense of style and most of all being a fabulous mother. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS.
