REECE EVELYN EVIE Evelyn Reece, age 91, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, July 24, 2015. Beloved wife of Al Reece for 70 years. Born in Pittsburgh PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Thelma Matthews. Loving mother of Allan (Margo) Reece of Gainesville, FL and Dale (Carol) Reece of Pittsburgh, PA; cherished grandmother of Erin Reece and Neil (Eileen) Reece; also survived by her sister. Evelyn was an enthusiastic author in children's magazines, a recognized ceramist, photographer, artist, and actress who enjoyed sharing her interests with young people. Evelyn will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Bower Hill Community Church, 70 Moffett St., Mt.
