HOGAN RAYMOND M. Age 92, formerly of Sun City, AZ, and Greensburg, PA, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 8, 2015, at the Grand Residence of Upper St. Clair. Born September 17, 1922, he was the son of the late James and Mary (Duff) Hogan. Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn (Harrold) of 64 years. Ray served in WWII with the 223 Signal Unit in the China-Burma-India Theater and was awarded the Bronze Star for service in the Asiatic Pacific Campaign. Following his discharge in 1946, he was employed by the Veterans Administration for 31 years in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, OH, and Philadelphia, PA. Ray was an avid sports fan and outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. His love of horses led him to join several riding clubs while living in Arizona. He is survived by son, Alan (Patricia) of Upper St. Clair; and grandchildren, Kimberly Cimarolli (Daniel) of Upper St. Clair and Jeffrey (Elizabeth) Hogan of Mt. Lebanon; great-grandsons, Tyler, Jacob and Ryan Cimarolli; also numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS. Friends welcome at 2828 Washington Rd., McMurray, 724-941-3211, on Monday, 11 a.m. until time of Service at 1 p.m. Interment National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
