GOLD NANCY EVELYN On August 8, 2015, our friend, advocate and visionary, passed away surrounded by her family. Nancy, the creator of TransperienceTV, a transgender-focused web series, was born in 1964. Nancy dedicated her life to LGBTQIA issues from the late 80s until her untimely passing. She served the community not only through film, but also as a board member of the GLCC and a Committee Member for Transpride Pittsburgh. Nancy loved Hello Kitty and Mountain Dew, and was often seen wearing her signature Converse sneakers and purple hat. Friends and family are invited to gather Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at Blue Moon Bar in Lawrenceville at 8 p.m., and Sunday, September 13, 2015, at the GLCC downtown at 4 p.m., to commemorate her life and work.
