BROWN BARBARA J. (LOGAN) Age 83, of Glenshaw, passed into her Lord's presence on Monday, August 10, 2015. Beloved wife of 62 years to Willard V. Brown; loving mother to Warren (Lynn) Brown of McMurray, Marjorie (Craig) Linner of Pittsburgh, Beverly (Ciro) DeMarco of Moxee, WA, and Rebecca (Gregory) Pletz of Gibsonia; also survived by her grandchildren, Eric Brown, Alex Brown, Joshua Pletz, Rachael Pletz and Vanessa Pletz. She graduated with highest honors from PA College of Women (Chatham). She used her outstanding musical gifts volunteering in her church and community as an accomplished piano accompanist for area soloists and musicals. Close to her heart were the residents at Regency Hall & Vincentian for whom she accompanied sing-alongs for more than 30 years. For many years she was a braillist for the School for the Blind in Pittsburgh. She traveled extensively with her husband through North America and Europe and even took cruises up both the Panama Canal and Amazon River. But most of all, she will be lovingly remembered for always being there for her children and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John T. Logan. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 17, 2015, at Northgate Church.
