SMITH DULCINA CRANE Age 94, of Moon Twp., PA, went gently into the arms of God on July 13, 2015, after a brief hospitalization at Heritage Valley, Sewickley, PA. She was born in Freeport, PA, the daughter of the late Harry S. and Jean Barr Crane. Mrs. Smith spent many years as a receptionist for the Trust and Executive Offices of PNC Bank. She was an elder of the Presbyterian Church of Coraopolis. Love of singing led to her participation in several church choirs. An active leader of many organizations, she was also a past Worthy Matron of the Freeport Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Dulcina is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan K. and Vicki Smith, Cincinnati, OH; and her daughter, Deborah S. McCallister, with whom she resided; two grandchildren, Sean (Beth McCarthy) Smith and Casey Smith; and four great- grandchildren, Margaret, Jonathan Mac, Nellie, and Gabriel Smith. They affectionately called her GiGi, and her Christmas celebrations delighted them, and all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Harry S. Crane, Jr.; and son-in-law, Robert McCallister. Private Services will be held by the family, with burial in the Freeport Cemetery. She would be pleased if contributions were to be made to a Children's, Veterans' or Animal Charity of your choice.
