AMATANGELO ALFRED NICHOLAS Born Sep. 14, 1931, in Monessen, PA to the late Joseph and Margaret Amatangelo of White Oak, PA. Predeceased by his wife, Anne Hardman Amatangelo; and sister, Catherine Brown. Survived by sister, Josephine (Rudy) Desua of MD; brother, Vincent, (Peggy) Amatangelo of Allison Park, PA; wife, Marion Hamilton Leque Amatangelo, ME, Ava Lewis; stepsons, Rick Hardman, ME and David Hardman, Florida. Alfred served in the Air Force as a Staff Sargent during the Korean War, in England and the U.S. He earned a BS in Mechanical/ Aeronautical Engineering from the Univ. of Pittsburgh and an MS in engineering from the Univ. of Massachusetts. He worked in the aerospace industry in CT. From 1964 to 1972 he was a Research Instructor in Civil Engineering at Lehigh University.
