BELL FRANCES W. On August 30, 2015, age 90, of Longwood at Oakmont. Beloved wife of the late David P. Bell. She is survived by her loving daughter, Lauren (Todd) Schuler; and by grandchildren, Hannah and Matthew Schuler. Frances graduated from Allegheny College in 1946 with a degree in Sociology and worked at both Gulf Oil and Koppers Co. in Pittsburgh. In her single years, she was an active member of the Pittsburgh Ski Club, and an avid golfer at Alcoma Golf Club, where she met David. Frances and David later became members of the Fox Chapel Racquet Club and Longue Vue Club, where Frances especially loved playing golf with her husband, daughter and many friends. Frances and David were active member of Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church since the early 1970s where Frances taught Sunday School and volunteered with both Contact Ministry and Meals-On-Wheels. A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2015, in the Chapel at Longwood of Oakmont. A private interment was held in Homewood Cemetery.
