JAMES EDWARD HODDER Age 76, lifelong resident of Mt. Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019, with his daughter by his side. He was the loving father of Ashley Hodder (Andrew) DeSilva, Christie, Margot and the late Hopie; treasured grandfather of Ava and Estelle DeSilva; cherished son of the late Clinton and Genevieve (Cipriano) Hodder; caring brother of Clinton Alexander Hodder, Colonel U.S. Army, Ret., and the late Nancy Anne Hodder; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. James was a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School in 1960 and received his Bachelor's degree in economics from Mt. Union College in Alliance, Ohio. He was the owner of Clinton G. Hodder Refractory Services Co., in Bridgeville. James also coached Mt. Lebanon girls' softball. He was an avid baseball player, spectator and coach. James will be remembered for his gentle soul, kind heart, and love of family. He will truly be missed by all. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS. Farrell; loving mother of Mary Katherine (Marty) Pronio, Megan Farrell, and Christopher (Dr. Kate) Farrell; dear “Mama” to grandchildren Joseph, Eugene, and Susan Pronio, and Conor and Cameron Farrell; cherished sister of Connie (Dennis) Mauro; and “Pretty Aunt Susy” to niece Dana, nephew Dr. Dennis (Erin) Mauro; and great-nieces Ava, Lily and Clare. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Angelina (Matassa) and James Pernice, and her brother Frank Pernice. Susan was proud to have lived her entire life in her hometown, Oakmont. Her greatest joys were her family, Roman Catholic faith, and Italian heritage. Her laugh, smile, and generous heart touched everyone she met and will never be forgotten. BRUCE M. GRAY Age 70, of North Versailles, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019. He was born April 27, 1949, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Edwin and Alice Gray. He was a Navy veteran that went onto work as a supervisor at the Westinghouse plant in East Pittsburgh, before working for the State of Pennsylvania in the welfare office in McKeesport. He was a member of the Elks in North Huntingdon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Leslie “Skip” Gray. He is survived by his loving wife of over 47 years, Janice Gray; children, Jack (Jennifer) D'Amico, Tara (Michael) Barone, John (Meredith) Gray, and Jason (Andrea) Gray; and grandchildren McKenzie Gray, Victoria Barone, Theodore “Teddy” Gray, Charlize “Charlie” Gray, and Michael Barone. EDWARD WILLIAM TARLE "ED" Passed away peacefully at home Thursday, May 9, 2019. He was born on December 12, 1931 in Glassport, PA. The son of the late Nicholas and Stella (Cvetic) Tarle. Ed is survived by a sister, Mary Tarle Corcoran of Clinton Township, Michigan. He was preceded to death by brothers, John N. and Joseph F. Tarle; as well as sister, Dorothy Tarle McMullen. Edward and his beloved wife of thirty-seven years, Linda L. Tarle, resided in Scott Township. Their family includes, son Edward Andrew and daughter-in-law Sandra Lynn (Jones) Tarle of San Juan Capistrano, California, daughter Mary Ann and son-in-law Henry L. Padlo of Saltsburg, PA, son Martin Nicholas Tarle of St. Mary's, PA, stepson, Peter T. and stepdaughter-in-law Lisa Prusko of Plum, PA, and stepdaughter Andrea L. Prusko of Moon Township, PA; granddaughters Kristen Lynn Tarle and Stephanie Jeanne Tarle of San Juan Capistrano, grandson Robert Edward and granddaughter-in-law Alyssa Leigh Tarle; and great-grandsons Lukas Nikolai Tarle and Jaxson Maddox Tarle all of Carlsbad, California; and granddaughters, Brittney Ann Tarle and Kali Barbara Tarle of St. Mary's, also by a niece and nephews. Ed graduated from St. Peter's High School in McKeesport, PA and received a B.A. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Tech in 1954. He worked for more than forty years in the aerospace and defense industry at the Glen L. Martin Aero Space Center in Baltimore, Maryland, the Bettis Atomic Plan in West Mifflin, Westinghouse Apparatus Division, Monroeville, Gould Ocean Systems in Cleveland, Ohio and the O'Donnell Engineering Company also in Cleveland. Ed was a Lodge Officer for the Croatian Fraternal Union (“CFU”) Lodge 719 in Glassport for over twenty years and was past-president of the Glassport Lions Club. He enjoyed extensive travel both international and domestic, computer technology, classical music, photography, and was also an avid Bridge player and collector of antiques. The family would like to thank both Chrissy Pearson and Family Hospice for their tender and compassionate care.
