Mark graduated from Carlow College with his Bachelor's Degree and Masters Degree. He obtained part of his Doctorate degree from Indiana University. He enjoyed landscaping, golfing, and was very active with the Boy Scouts, receiving the Eagle Scout Award at the age of 16. DR. GREGORY STEPHEN MAGRENI Passed away suddenly on June 18, 2019, at the age of 64. Some may know Greg for the compassionate patient care he provided during a lifelong career in Emergency Medicine at Washington Hospital and Canonsburg Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, Oconee Memorial Hospital, in Seneca, SC, and, later, during his career in Student Health at the Redfern Health Center at Clemson University. Others may know him for his witty sense of humor, ever-present smile, atrocious dance moves, or ability to wear the same shirt for an entire week because, “If you change the shorts, you change the whole outfit.” We know him as our beloved husband, father, and brother. He was our youth sports coach, career mentor, and biggest fan. Greg was the oldest son of the late Margaret and Raymond Magreni. He leaves behind his wife of 38 years, Cathleen; and his children, Angelina Magreni Dixon and Stephen Gregory Magreni; his son-in-law, Christopher Dixon; his siblings, Susan Rich and Gary Magreni; and many other beloved family members and friends. AUDREY ETTA (WILKINS) BAUMGARTEL Laughing all the way to Heaven on wings of God's angels after taking care of her family for 92 years, Audie began the reunion to last all of eternity on Wednesday, June 19, 2019. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Ralph; treasured son-in-law, Tom; eight siblings; best friends, Jean Manno, Rose Johnson, and Betty Gruber; her mother, Ruth; her firefighter dad, John Grover Wilkins (who died when she was 17 years old); much loved mother-in-law, Lena; and father-in-law, Pup; Ralph's brothers and sister; and the very spoiled furry puppy kids, Tinker, Pretty Girl, Midget, Barney, Benji, and Miracle. Heaven is rocking with Wilkins' laughter forever more because the gang is all back together! Audrey was employed in the X-ray department of West Penn Hospital over 60 years ago and retired upon the birth of her only child. She received lifetime membership in the Order of the Eastern Star, Corinth Chapter 229, in April 2017. Her life became her family and we are all better because of that devotion. CAROL ANN (RICHNER) GALLAGHER Of Lawrence, died June 18, 2019. Carol was born in Williamsport, PA, where she graduated from Williamsport High School. Carol was the founder of Crossroad Florist in McMurray, where she could be found most days for all of its 38 years.Carol was a pioneer in women owned business. When she first opened her shop, she could not even buy a delivery vehicle without her husband's signature. To those who knew Carol, it should come as no surprise that she steadfastly refused and she petitioned the bank until her business was granted credit on its own merit. Her favorite time of year was the Christmas season. She loved to decorate her shop and her home. She also loved to entertain friends and family during this festive season , spreading joy and love to all. In 1960, Carol married the man who called her the love of his life, M. Joseph, and they had three children, Deborah (Michael) Carso, Kathryn (Kris) Wilhoit, and Matthew (Analiz). She is also survived by three grandchildren, Joseph (Molly) Carso, Katelyn, and Kristopher Wilhoit; a sister-in-law, Peggy Privott; a nephew, a niece, and several cousins. Her family was always her biggest priority and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Carol was a longtime member of St Benedict the Abbott Church. DR. GEORGE F. BUERGER, JR. Age 84, passed peacefully surrounded by family at his home in Churchill, on Sunday, June 16, 2019. Beloved husband of over 60 years of Patricia Fike Buerger; loving father of Dr. David Buerger (Sonya) of Pittsburgh, Dr. Daniel Buerger (Laura) of Pittsburgh, and Thomas Buerger of Washington, DC; cherished grandfather of Jonathan, Matthew, Zachary, Emma, William, Victoria, and Rebecca. George was raised in Uniontown, PA, through high school in 1953. He graduated in 1958 from the University of Pittsburgh, where he was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity, served as president his senior year, went on to become president of Pitt's Delta Tau Delta Alumni Society, and in 2018 was inducted into the University of Pittsburgh's Greek Hall of Fame. He attended medical school at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington D.C, earning his M.D. in 1962. He started his private practice in ophthalmology, Pittsburgh Oculoplastic Associates, in 1969, which his sons David and Dan joined in 1996 and 1998, respectively. In addition to being a devoted eye surgeon to thousands of patients and a mentor to generations of Pitt ophthalmology residents, George was a leader in the Pittsburgh medical community throughout his career. He served as president of the Pittsburgh Ophthalmology Society (1987-1989), the 125th president of the Allegheny County Medical Society in 1990, and was active in the Pennsylvania Medical Society. George was a founding member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS), a new specialty within ophthalmology focusing on eyelid and tear duct surgery, and became its president in 1976. He was the first ophthalmologist in Pittsburgh to specialize in this field. George had the privilege of serving as the official ophthalmologist for the Pittsburgh Penguins for 31 years, from 1973-2004. As a member of the Penguins organization, when they won the Stanley Cup in 1992 George used his "Day with the Cup" by visiting the Pittsburgh Blind Association and allowing the visually impaired to share in the experience of "seeing" the cup by feel. A celebration of the life of George F. Buerger, Jr. will be held at Calvary Episcopal Church, 315 Shady Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15206 on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at 12:00 p.m., followed by a reception in the church hall. LISA R. (KLUDO) CIMINERA Age 52, a resident of Newton, NH, for the last ten years and formerly of Greenland, died peacefully on Friday, June 14, 2019, at her home, following a long illness and surrounded by her loved ones. Born in New Brighton, PA, she graduated from Beaver High School as well as the Fashion Institute of Technology at The University of Pittsburgh. Lisa was a Justice of the Peace for the State of New Hampshire and had previously worked as a Multi Media Consultant for the Hearst Corporation. She was also the former co-owner of Finn and Company Jewelers of Portsmouth and had previously worked as a Manager at D.H. Ostrander Goldsmith Gallery. A member of the Women of the Moose Lodge of Portsmouth, Lisa enjoyed fishing, hiking, boating, canoeing, skiing, tennis, motorcycling, vegetable and flower gardening, furniture refinishing and repair and jewelry design. As a young woman, she enjoyed modeling for clothing manufacturers in the Pittsburgh, PA area and later, as a young mother, horseback riding with her son. Lisa will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her longtime companion, Daniel Willett of Newton; her mother, Dorothy (Stewart) Kludo of Coraopolis, PA; her father and step-mother, Dr. Ronald G. Kludo, MD and Brenda Kludo of Boca Raton, FL; her son, Nickolas Ciminera of Greenland; a brother, Ronald G. Kludo, Jr. of Pittsburgh; a sister and brother-in-law, Amy M. (Kludo) and Steve Sipple of Pittsburgh; three nieces, Stephanie, Kristen and Lauren Sipple; and a nephew, Anthony Sipple. She was predeceased by a sister, Beth Anne Kludo. CLAIRE COFFEY On June 18, 2019, she rejoined her father, Rege DeSano. Claire was full of life, outgoing, and fun. She enjoyed relaxing on the boat with the love of her life, Tom, and their many friends. Claire had unquestionable love for her family.
