ELIZABETH "BETTY" (VITELLI) ROTHBAUER Age 94, of Jefferson Boro, died Thursday, October 31, 2019. Born March 26, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Zelinda Martinelli Vitelli. Betty worked in the accounting department of US Steel, Clairton Works; was a member of St. Claire of Assisi Parish and its choir, and also belonged to the I.S.D.A. And Clairton American Legion Auxilliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony J. Rothbauer; her son, Anthony J. Rothbauer, Jr.; and her siblings, Rose Morock, Ida Meredith, Mary Meredith, Violet Salesi, Zelinda Arilotta, Florence Clyde, John, Joseph, Frank and Anthony Vitelli. She is survived by neices and nephews. Friends will be received at the A.J. HARRY T. "BIG H" MITCHELL Age 80, of Taylorsville, Kentucky, formerly of Pittsburgh, died Friday, the 25th day of October, 2019, at Signature Healthcare of Spencer County in Taylorsville. A native of Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Harry and Mercia Halloran Mitchell and the widower of Marian Vrcic Mitchell. He was a retired auto salvage mechanic and a member of the Catholic Church. His survivors include his daughters, Renee Porro and her husband, Michael, of Simpsonville, Kentucky, and Lisa Kassab and her husband, Raphi, of Sherman Oaks, California; his brother, William Mitchell of Pittsburgh; his sister, Mercia “Sis” Adams also of Pittsburgh; and two his grandchildren, Ahsley Kassab and Sasha Kassab. IDA ELIZABETH SEGRAVES Age 90, died October 5, 2019 in Vero Beach, Florida. Mrs. Segraves was born in Pittsburgh, PA and moved to Fort Pierce in 1993 coming from Lakeside, California. Prior to retirement, Ida worked for Sears in San Diego, CA. She was a member of the 99's (Licensed Women's Pilots), volunteer at the San Diego Air and Space Museum and a member of the Silver Wings. Survivors include her nieces, Sarah Snee of Fort Pierce, Donna Miller of Winter Haven, FL, Barb Holt of Pittsburgh, PA, Dorothy Foreman of Pittsburg, PA, and Karin Holtgraver of Pittsburgh, PA. LT. COL. JOHN PAUL HARRIS, JR. "MIKE" Age 78, of Kennedy Twp., formerly of Green Tree, at his home on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, surrounding by his beloved family. Loving husband of 53 years to Andrea Ann (Stocklas) Harris; son of the late John P. and Lucille Lubic Harris; son-in-law of the late Andrew and Anna Stocklas; father of Anne Harris-Crowe (David), John P. Harris, III (Anne Boland); grandfather of Mikie Crowe, John P. “JP”Harris, IV, Hunter Alexander Harris; brother of Frank Joseph Harris (Mi-Rang Yoon), Christopher Michael Harris (Therese Giglia), Lucie Mary Harris; and lifelong best friends, Bob Gabler and Dave Dice. Lt. Col. Harris retired from the U.S. Army serving the country he loved for 31 years; joined the Army Reserves after graduating from the University of Dayton, he went to OCS to get his commission as a 2nd Lt. He soon transferred into the 11th Special Forces ABN. Upon entering the unit, he went to Special Forces Qualifications School and Army Airborne School. He rose to the rank of Captain and completed numerous day and nighttime airborne operations. He later transferred to the 99th ARCOM Command where he obtained the rank of Major and then Lt. Colonel. During his Reserve Army career he participated in national marksman competitions with different rifles and was awarded the distinguished pistol shot medal as the top marksman in the 99th ARCOM. GEORGE "CHUB" CUNNINGHAM Peacefully, on October 26, 2019, age 94, formally a resident of Liberty Boro for 65 years. George was born in Wilson, PA to the late George and late Olive (Sager) Cunningham. He was the devoted husband of Louise (Walker) Cunningham for 62 years. Loving father of Boyce (companion, Beth Joseph) Cunningham of Sacramento, CA, Karen (Late Joe) Pedulla of Pitcairn, PA, and George (Patte) Cunningham of Reno, NV; adoring grandfather of four; great-grandfather of seven and great-great-grandfather of five. He is also survived by other relatives and friends. George was a member of the Greatest Generation, and proudly served his country as a United States Marine during World War II. He was an avid big game hunter. In his younger years, he belonged to a hunting club and made numerous trips to Wyoming and Montana. DEVIN ANTHONY KISAK On October 31, 2019, surrounded by his devoted family, Devin Anthony Kisak, 29 years old of North Huntingdon, passed away peacefully in his sleep after a short, but mighty, battle with metastatic cancer. Devin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Anne and George Kisak and Andrew “Bunky” and Anna “Babe” Milko, Uncle Andy Milko, as well as dear family friend and “uncle “Kenny Radjenovich. Devin is survived by his loving parents, Dennis and Ginger Kisak of North Huntingdon who fought just as hard as he did to beat this menacing disease; his brothers Drew (Kelsey) Kisak of Jefferson Hills, and Dean (Amanda) Kisak of North Huntingdon and their children, Danica and Ryder. Devin was the world's best “funcle” (fun uncle) to his niece and nephew. Devin also leaves behind his fiancé , Melanie Bohin of North Huntingdon, and her son Landon Heckman. Devin loved them both fiercely and was eager to walk down the aisle with Melanie this coming fall. Sadie girl and Lucky puppy are going to miss Devin dearly – home won't be the same without him. Devin is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as many dear friends. Devin graduated from Norwin High School in 2008 and Penn State University with a Bachelor of Business Management in 2013. Devin was an employee at Westinghouse Electric Company in New Stanton. After his diagnosis, Devin truly lived life to the fullest from planning a wedding to taking Landon and Danica on different adventures each time he felt well. Ten-month-old Ryder was the apple of his eye and he could not wait to watch him grow and learn. Ryder even learned how to wave and got to say a proper goodbye to Uncle Devin. Devin made the best of each and every moment and always worried about everyone else, even in his last days. He was a talented artist and loved to tattoo in his spare time. Devin enjoyed the outdoors where he spent as much time as he could, and he loved to take long drives. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at PATRICK T. JOHN V. "JOHNNY" DiFELICE Age 36, a life-long resident of Moon/Coraopolis area and very proud of his Italian Heritage - 2nd generation, passed unexpectedly on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019. He was born in Youngstown, OH on July 6, 1983. Johnny is survived by his life partner, Virginia Elinsky and their unborn baby; beloved parents, Vincent and Diane DiFelice; cherished sister, Olivia DiFelice Hoover (Eduardo Hoover, Jr.); nephews and niece, Eduardo Hoover III, Alexander Hoover and Lillian Rosina Hoover; grandparents, Giovanni “John” DiNunno and Rosaria DiFelice; aunts and uncles, Ivana Huzjak (Kevin) Remo DiFelice (Mary), Yola Battaglini, Jack Giampietro (Carol) Anna Maria Angelone (Emilio); Virginia's mother, Paige Elinsky; also many loving cousins. Johnny was preceded in death by his grandmother, Rose (Celeste) DiNunno; grandfather, John DiFelice; uncles, Tony Battaglini and Leo Paul Giampietro. Johnny was a 2001 graduate of Moon Area High School and obtained his BS in Electrical Science from CCAC. He was a journeyman electrician for many years with IBEW Local 5 and a member of St. Joseph Church. Johnny was an avid fisherman and enjoyed camping. He was known around town as "the runner", Johnny ran four marathons and one triathlon in a four year period, winning many medals along the way. Our hearts are heavy with loss and we are not sure how to go on. We will miss Johnny very much. Please keep us in prayer. CECELIA (OSTERMEIER) CABALIK Age 84, of McCartney Dr. for 50 years and most recently Providence Point, where she passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, Oct. 30, 2019 after battling Alzheimer's. Born in Pittsburgh on March 12, 1935, she was one of six children to the late Cecil and Mary (Coleman) Ostermeier. On August 9, 2013, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, John W. Cabalik, Jr. Adored mother of Mary C. Hoover (Michael) and Lee M. Cabalik (Brian Pierce); cherished Mimi of Gregory Hoover; loving sister of Mary “Poots” Groman and the late Margaret Gregory, Norma Jean Ostermeier, Thomas Ostermeier, Mildred O'Rourke. Cecelia was a member of St. Margaret Mary Parish, Montour Heights Country Club and their Ladies Bowling League. She loved spending time with her family and friends, music, vacationing (especially spending February in Ft. Meyers), golf and her Gimlets. This posh, snazzy, gentle woman was so polished and kind, yet a quick-witted jokester. She and Jack were total opposites and perfectly matched. We will always miss CC and the love and support she so generously bestowed upon us. A native of Weirton, WV, he attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He started his own business (Dick Zdinak Assoc.) as a graphic artist in Pittsburgh in 1972.
