PATRICK JOSEPH COYNE Age 67 of Baldwin Borough passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 while visiting family in North Carolina. Beloved husband for 37 years to Judi Fisher Coyne. Survived by sisters-in-law, Lindy (Don) Phillips, and Jackie (Clay) Waddell; loving nieces and nephews, Michael (Maria Jaramillo Restrepo) Phillips, Tom (Dana) Phillips, Courtney (Bob) Burke, Amy Phillips, Wade Waddell, and Savannah Waddell. Best friend since a sixth-grade dance of Keith (Colleen) Gedeon. He is also survived by a large extended family. Patrick was the son of the late Patrick J. Coyne, and M. Dottie Coyne. Pat was a Military Police Officer with the U.S. Army followed by a career as a Police Officer with Baldwin Borough. Upon retirement, he joined the Pennsylvania Department of Banking as a Special Investigator. He was proud of his Irish heritage and even learned to speak the Gaelic language. Pat was honest, sincere, and a true friend. He had deep faith and attended morning Mass frequently. Friends will be received at the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Wednesday morning at 9:45. Beloved wife of the late Peter Shomansky; loving mother of Shirley (Tony) Anthony; caring and devoted mimi of Taylor R. Allman, Heather M. (Dan) Kerrigan, Jessica (Justin) Moore and Tony Anthony, II; proud great-mimi of Charlie Kerrigan and Annabelle Moore; daughter of the late Emma and John Shirley; sister of the late Jack (Jean) Shirley; also survived by her beloved cat and companion, Roxy. Janet was devoted to her faith and church family. She was a longtime member of the knitting group the "Knit-Wits". She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. ALBERT W. DINGMAN Albert W. Dingman, 89, of Avalon died on Friday, November 29, 2019. He is survived by the love of his life, his devoted wife Kathleen Casey; his children, Michael (Megan), Amy (Thomas) Pengidore, Timothy, Jeannine (Roy) Harris and Christopher; he was “Happy G” to 13 grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren; beloved father-in-law to Amanda Dingman and Sally Dingman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Dorothy Mae Dingman; brothers, Glen and Ken; and survived by siblings, Jean Amedure, Jerry, Diane, and Patty Smith. He found his life's work at Vincentian Home where he worked as Assistant Administrator for 37 years. He served many years at Assumption Church as Lector, Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist and on Parish Council. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Vincent de Paul Society. WILLIAM JOHN "BILL" PATTERSON, SR. Age 88, passed away November 30, 2019. Born on October 14, 1931. Beloved son of John and Agnes Patterson. Preceded in death by Dolores (Dollie) after 65 years of marriage. Caring father of Kathy (Gregg) Rexroad, Debbie (Doug) Miller, Cindy (Kevin) Campbell, Bill (Kris) Patterson; proud grandfather to Selena, Kevin Jr., Kellen, Ashlee, Mallory, Kirk, Derek and Korey; great-grandfather of eleven. Preceded in death by his brother Jack. Bill served in the National Guard and worked for Eazor Express for over 20 years and retired as the Terminal Manager. After retirement, he enjoyed working as a part-time bus driver for Baldwin School District. Bill was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, and a devoted father and grandfather who enjoyed supporting all their activities. He was a dedicated youth baseball coach, founder/head coach of the Shannon Shamrock's youth football team, and West Allegheny youth football coach. Ed was a veteran of World War II and served in the Mighty 8th Air Force based in England. CHARLES "CHUCK" COULEHAN Age 79, of Jefferson Hills, died November 28, 2019. Left, not to mourn his death but to celebrate his life, is his wife of 54 years, Maggie. Chuck was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and foster father. He is survived by his five children, Katie (Mark) LaFrance, Paul (Shannon) Coulehan, Colleen (Lance) Luksik, Tim (Meghan)Coulehan, Erin (David) Gill and his 15 grandchildren Nicolas (Lauren), Benjamin (Kate), Emily (Justin), Justin, Ethan, Liam, Nathan, Matthew, Andrew, Brendan, Ryan, Aidan, Charlie, Alex, and Luke. After graduating from Duquesne University in 1961 Chuck worked for the Social Security Administration, the Army Map Service, and the Army Corps of Engineers. He then worked for Westinghouse for 27 years before retiring from the Nuclear Energy Division. Chuck was an active member of St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church in Whitehall and served as an usher, a member of the Parish Council, and a Eucharistic Minister. He was a big fan of Pittsburgh sports; the Pirates, Steelers, and Pitt and Duquesne basketball, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Margaret Coulehan, and his siblings Donald, Jerome, and Carol. Family and friends will be received at the JOHN F. ELIZABETH (LOZAW) "LIBBY" REGAN Of Point Breeze, on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, age 91. Libby, as she was known to her many, many friends, was the beloved wife of the late Charles Regan, to whom she was married for 44 years before his death in 1998. She was the loving mother of Charles Regan, Jr., Beth Regan, and Anne Costello (Bill), and the devoted grandmother to Reed, Charles, Libby, and Cece Costello. She was the older sister to Thomas Lozaw (the late Kathleen), Verene Harvey (Joseph), Jerome Lozaw (Carmella) and the late Pat Lozaw and an aunt to many nieces and nephews. A long-time parishioner of St. Bede Church in Point Breeze, Libby served on its Parish Council and sang for many years in its choir. She and her family took great joy in her piano playing. Libby worked for a decade at Gulf Research Institute. A devoted alumna of the high school at what is now Seton Hill University, Libby also volunteered at St. Bede Church, the Roselia Center, St. Lucy's Auxiliary, and Central Catholic High School. Libby's family wishes to express its appreciation for the many caregivers at Canterbury Place, where she spent the final part of her life. Toni was born on June 26, 1928, in Clairton, Pennsylvania, one of two children, of Rocco A. and Emilia (Rosati) Brusco. She was formerly of Havertown, Pennsylvania near Philadelphia, where she was a long time employee of the Sun Oil Company. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Davis Duff in 1976. Toni is survived by her brother, Patsy (the late Carol) Brusco of Clairton; one niece, Barbara (Mark) Daniels; one nephew, Michael (Donna) Brusco; and four great nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Jeffrey, Heather and Matthew.
