MOREHOUSE STEPHEN MICHAEL AG...
MOREHOUSE STEPHEN MICHAEL Age 37, formerly of Oxford, Michigan, died December 16, 2015, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Michael's passing came after months of surviving complications of a congenital heart condition. Michael's absence weighs heavily in the hearts and minds of all who knew him. Yet, those who did have peace in knowing that the quality of your character far outweighs the time you spend on earth. Michael was born on May 13, 1978, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Stephen Henry and Rebecca (Ball-Phillips) Morehouse. Raised in Atlanta, Michael always regrets that he left the warmth of the south, but was excited to relocate to Pinckney, Michigan, where he quickly realized that the boating life was for him. Although Michael's heart condition limited his physical activities in adolescence, as a result, he developed a quick wit and active imagination, which he passionately used during his involvement in Pinckney Players, Twin Masks, and Brighton Community Education Youth Drama Class, which he taught for three summers. He attended Pinckney High School, Ashland University, and Central Michigan University, receiving a degree in technical theatre. Always an adventurer, Michael also resided in Stamford and Norwalk, Connecticut, and Harrison, New York, where he met his wife, Erin (Brady) Morehouse, 33, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Fate brought them together when he offered to jump her automobile. Michael, always one for a challenge, and with Erin's support, developed an active career in finance working first for Lightspeed Trading in Manhattan, NYC, and then PNC Investments in Troy, Michigan. Their true love and devotion to each other in their marriage takes most couples a lifetime to achieve. Michael was with Erin, his wife of five years, at his passing. He is survived by his wife, Erin; and their beloved goldendoodles, Molly and Shannon; his brother, Scott Byron Morehouse, 40, and his spouse, Karrie (Stray) Morehouse, 39, of Hudsonville, Michigan; and his niece and nephew, Ellisyn and Gavin; and his parents. Michael also felt the love and support of his extended family, and is survived by Erin's parents, Michael William Brady, 60, and his wife, Marta (Larkin) Brady, 59; and sister-in-law, Whitney Brady, 31, all of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A celebration of Michael's life will be held May 14, 2016, in Pinckney, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to further the research and treatment to benefit future generations of congenital heart disease patients and families. We would be honored with any tribute gifts made in Michael's memory to the UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation for use by the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Center at https://www.givetochildrens. org/ways-to-give/tribute-givingArrangements by FRANK F.
