KAZOUR MAHASSEN "TITA" (OBEID) Of Brookline, age 95, passed with her family by her side on November 18, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Aziz Kazour for 70 years; and mother of 11 children; and 78 grand and great-grandchildren. Mother of Nouha Makhoul (Simon) of Sydney, Australia, Fouad Kazour of Pittsburgh, Nazira Fares (Fares) of Lebanon, George Kazour of Hanover, Maryland, Norma Fares (Youssef) of Lebanon, Therese Saad (Raymond) of Lebanon, Jocelyne Chahine (Youssef) of Pittsburgh, Marie Teslovich (Charles) of Pittsburgh, Joseph Kazour (Patricia) of Rochester, New York, John Kazour (Kathleen) of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Zaidan Kazour (Vicky) of Austin, Texas. Mahassen was born in Lebanon and immigrated to Pittsburgh in 1982. As the family matriarch, she inspired all who came in touch with her. Known to her family and friends as Tita, she will be fondly remembered for her delicious Lebanese cuisine and her outspoken personality. Her house and heart were open to everyone.
