
SULLIVAN KEVIN VINCENT, D.M.D. Of Fox Chapel, in the presence of his loving family, lost his valiant battle with ALS on Tuesday, December 29, 2015. Kevin was a gentle-man of extraordinary wit, generosity and kindness. Kevin was born September 30, 1959, the faithful and loving son of Mary Louise Connelly Sullivan and the late Lawrence X. Sullivan, Sr., M.D. Kevin is survived by his devoted wife, Susan Buys Sullivan and he was the beloved stepfather of Lloyd David Harvey and Nancy Elizabeth Harvey. Kevin was the cherished brother of Lawrence X. Sullivan, Jr., M.D. (Elizabeth Liz Moore), Maureen L. Sullivan, M.D. of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Michelle S. Fielding of Ellwood City, Pennsylvania and Richard F. Sullivan, D.M.D., Esquire. Kevin is also survived by his extended Buys' family in-laws, Nelson F. Buys (Linda), William K. Buys, Joanne B. Meade (Paul), Michael P. Buys (Janice), Patricia L. Buys (Alicia), Mary Louise Reese (Mike); and many Buys nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his doting aunts, Eileen S. Connelly and Carol S. Shaughnessy; and by numerous much-loved cousins. Kevin adored and is also survived by his nieces, Victoria L. Fielding and Juliet A. Fielding; and his nephew, Eric V. Fielding. Kevin graduated from Fox Chapel High School, received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Pittsburgh and his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Kevin practiced general dentistry with offices on Old Freeport Road in O'Hara Township, Pennsylvania and on Baptist Road in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, since 1984. Kevin was dedicated to his family and his patients. Kevin loved all sports, particularly golf and football. Kevin was a member of the Pittsburgh Field Club for over 30 years. Kevin enjoyed traveling the world and especially his annual excursions to Key West, Florida. Kevin was a great raconteur and easily talked to people from all walks of life. Kevin was a loyal friend to many. Kevin's family is grateful to God for the joyful gift of his life. Kevin's family wishes to thank all those who helped either by visiting him, or in any way, during his illness, especially the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association, Western Pennsylvania Chapter. Friends will be received at McCABE BROS., INC.
