BRUNETTE IRENE MARIE (THOMAS) Age 86, of Napa, CA, formerly of Moon Township, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at St. Helena Hospital, located in the Napa Valley where she lived near her daughter, Nancy. She was born in Weirton, WV on May 20, 1929, to Czechoslovakian immigrants, the late Andrew and Anna (Straka) Thomas. On September 29, 1997, she was predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years, the late Samuel Brunette. She is survived by her loving children, Nancy Baty (Mark) of Napa, CA and Patricia Goller (Tom) of O'Fallon, IL; four cherished grandsons, Daniel, Brian, Patrick and Samuel; proud great-grandmother of Henry; and her best friend, Naomi Mazzetti. The family would like to thank Naomi for always checking in on Irene every day to make sure she was okay. A member of St. Margaret Mary Church and Moon AARP, she had been an oral surgeon assistant for 25 years and loved to play Bingo. Everyone please meet at church for Mass at St. Margaret Mary Church on Friday at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
