ZLUKY SISTER MARY DePAUL Sister Mary DePaul Zluky, A Sister of Charity of Nazareth, was called to her heavenly home on September 12, 2017 at the age of 96, and in the 82nd year of her religious life. Sister entered the Congregation of the Vincentian Sisters of Charity from St. Michael Parish in Braddock, PA in 1935. Sister served the Church as a teacher in the dioceses of Pittsburgh, Greensburg, Altoona Johnstown, PA and Youngstown, Ohio. Sister M. Sister's great sense of humor and storytelling always evoked a good laugh and cheered everyone around her. Her last years were spent in prayer ministry at St. Louise Convent in Pittsburgh where she still served the poor by crocheting mats for the homeless out of plastic grocery bags. Sister was deeply loved by the people to whom she ministered, her family and her Sisters in Community, she will be greatly missed. Sister M.
