VAVREK BERNARD JOSEPH Age 82, of Moon Township, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015. Born on March 18, 1933, in McKees Rocks, PA, he was the son of the late George and Rose (Kurtz) Vavrek. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Evelyn (Guiliani) Vavrek; daughters, Melissa (Keith) Little of Roaring Spring, PA and Kathy (Ken) Taylor of McKean, PA. Also, grandchildren, David, Scott, John and Julia Taylor and Miranda and Sarah Little; and sister, Rita Diroll. He was preceded in death by siblings, Herman, Theresa Panzak, and Sr. Immaculata O.S.F. Bernard served in Korea with the U.S. Army and was a member at the V.F.W. and American Legion. His hobbies included photography and woodworking. Services will be held at COPELAND'S MOON TOWNSHIP, 981 Brodhead Rd. Visitation Sunday 2-8 p.m. and Funeral on Monday at 11 a.m. Rev. Dr. Thomas Petrosky and Father Richard Jones will officiate.
