PARISH JANET MAY (CREADY) Age 86, of South Park, formerly of Dormont, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. Beloved wife of 60 years to the late Lee Parish; loving mother of Mary Parish (Chuck Slayton) and Donna Neiport (Michael); adoring Grammie to Nick (Maria) and Jake Neiport; daughter of the late Walter and Nelle Cready; sister of the late Jim Cready. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, including Gwyn Cready, who, with her husband, Lester Pyle, brought much love and laughter into her life. Janet was an Administrative Assistant and then volunteer at Goodwill Industries for many years. She had the gifts of empathy and compassion, and her gentle wisdom touched the lives of many over the course of her long life. The family is grateful to the caregivers at Comfort Keepers, particularly Barb and Danielle, and to her good friend, Joe, who cared for and then adopted Janet's dear four-footed companion, Shelley. Friends are invited to visit with the family at a gathering in Janet's memory on Sunday, April 30, 2017, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Michael Neiport, 3576 Falmouth Drive, South Park, PA. Interment is private.
