ROBERTSON WILLIAM H. Age 89, of Brookline, formerly of Trafford, passed away surrounded by his loving family on May 14, 2017. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary (McLemore) Robertson; daughter, J'Nay Wuenstel; son, William H. (Dawn) Robertson II; brothers, Donald Robertson, Kenny Robertson, Alex "Shorty" Robertson; granddaughters, Maura, Roxann and Cassandra; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander Robertson and Melvina Marks. William was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II as well as a Commander in the Brookline American Legion. CHURILLA RICHARD S. Passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017, age 64. Beloved husband of Patricia (Mirabelli) Churilla; loving father of Ashley (Gregory) James; son of Mary B. Churilla and the late Stephen A. Churilla; also survived by his sister, Christine (Rob) Girts; and his nephew, Michael Girts. He was a 1974 graduate of Duquesne University and a 1976 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. Rich was a lifetime member of Steel Town Corvette Club where he also served as the treasurer of the club for many years. Rich loved his Corvettes, and he and Patty enjoyed attending the club's functions and traveling with the club. Rich and Patty also enjoyed their trips to the ocean, especially their trips to Bonita Beach. He will be greatly missed by those whose lives he has touched. KIRK CORRINNE A. (LORINGER) Age 78, of Carnegie, formerly of Erie, PA, passed away unexpectedly on May 1, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Roger M. Kirk; daughter of the late John and Juliana (Strohmyer) Loringer. She leaves behind one daughter, Sheila A. Kirk; three grandchildren, David Kirk Ciaffoni, Jillian Ciaffoni, and Nicholas Ciaffoni. She was a talented artist. She loved animals especially horses, dogs, cats. Her hobbies included painting, decorating, crafts and music. She loved learning something new every day. She worked as a staff nurse at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie. She was also a small business owner and realtor, after retiring she did volunteer work for Meals on Wheels and visiting nurses. NEELY RUTH PURCELL Of Mt. Lebanon, born on July 6,1920, passed away on May 13, 2017, at the age of 96. She was the beloved wife of the late J. Maxwell Neely; daughter of the late Dorothea and Thomas Purcell; and sister of the late Doris Leathers. She will be sadly missed by her children, Ruth Erl, Barbara (David) Rennhoff, Eileen Neely, M.D., Margaret “Peggy” Neely, John “Jack” (Jill) Neely, Thomas (Cynthia) Neely, Michael (Mary) Neely, and Christopher (Michelle) Neely. Her cherished grandchildren are Adam (Christina), Johanna, Daniel, and the late Laura Rennhoff, Matthew (Becky) and Ruthie Neely, Peter and Dylan Neely, Maxwell, Meredith (Colin), and Mason Neely, Erin, Siobhan, and Joseph Neely. Ruth has six dear great-grandsons, Billy and Baker Rennhoff, Oliver and Dylan Coates-Neely, and Logan and Connor Neely. She will also be missed by her many special nieces, nephews, cousins, and her sister-in-law, Mary Jane Neely. Ruth was a graduate of Mount Mercy College and worked briefly as a chemist before marrying and raising four daughters and four sons. In later years she worked at Our Lady of Grace School and local card shops. She volunteered in the community, being particularly active with Music for Mt. Lebanon. She has left a lovely legacy reflective of her artistic talent consisting of her paintings and beautiful embroideries. The family is grateful for the kindness of the staff at Harbour Senior Living, and especially for the generosity of Norma. There will be no viewing and interment will be private. Beloved wife for 65 years of the late Roger H. Gartside; loving mother of Christine Cameron (Keith), Michael Gartside (Carol), John Gartside (Cathy) and Mary Kay Tappe (James). She was a devoted grandmother of 12 grandchildren; and ten great- grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Rosemary Keller. Dolores was born in York, PA, moved to Glenshaw, retired to Coudersport, PA and moved to Charleston, SC for three years before moving to Zelienople after Roger's death last May. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Sereno; her parents, Joseph and Josepha (Webster) Rudman; brothers and sisters, Louise Gilmore, Gregory Rudman, Ann Jewell, Jerry Rudman, Frances Rudman, Margie Buck; and three nephews. She is survived by 12 nieces and nephews; 16 great-nieces and great-nephews; and seven great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Helen was a graduate of Braddock High School. She retired after 43 years as a Data Entry Clerk at Westinghouse Electric, East Pittsburgh. She was a former board member of the DPA Alumni Assoc.; held many positions for the former East Pittsburgh AARP #3021; active in the Valley Seniors and belonged to the East Suburban Friendship Club of Wilkins Twp. She was a member of the St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon. Helen enjoyed bowling, playing cards, visiting Casinos, traveling, and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Penguins. ALLISON DONALD LEE Age 78, of Brooksville, FL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 10, 2017. Donnie was born in West Point, Nebraska to Fred and Bernice Allison on September 28, 1938. He was self-employed in the trucking industry as a long-haul truck driver for over 54 years. He enjoyed racing and fishing. Allison was a very successful driver with victories at tracks in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. He was the Semi-Late Champion at Lernerville, Motordrome and Jennerstown Speedways. Allison was sponsored by #1 Cochran Pontiac of Monroeville Pennsylvania. He was called the Silver Dragon and later named the Warlord. Donnie was a Presbyterian by Faith. Survivors include his loving wife, Patricia; sons, Donald, Jr. and Tommy; daughters, Tammy and Debra; ten grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. The funeral service was on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at GRACE MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, Hudson, FL. Interment followed in Grace Memorial Gardens. PFAFF SUZANNE (STAAB) Age 81, passed away on May 15, 2017, at her home in South Baldwin, PA. She was born on January 4, 1936, in Pittsburgh, PA, to John “Buck” and Sarah Gallupe Staab. Suzanne grew up in Carrick, PA. She graduated from St. Basil High School in Carrick in 1954, and was a member of the Women's Basketball Team. After high school, she worked for 37 years at GC Murphy Co. Suzanne married Ronald Pfaff in 1956 in Carrick. They were happily married for 60 years. Suzanne was a member of St. Germaine Church. She enjoyed basketball, playing cards, vacations at Rehoboth Beach, playing slot machines, and spending time with her family; especially Sunday dinners. Suzanne is survived by her spouse, Ronald; her children, Daniel (Rosemary), Kathleen (Edward) McVay, Jeffrey, Richard (Patricia), Sally (Michael) Flinn; her sister, Carol (Jack) Schneider; her grandchildren, Shawn (Jessica), Shannon (Joshua), Brandon (Corrine), Brittany (Timothy), Troy, Rachel, Blaise, Jordan, Olivia, Damian, Jessica, Brody, Delaney; her great-grandchild, Jameson; and her cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
