Bob was a Korean War Navy veteran and a retired supervisor from Westinghouse, Bettis site, with over 40 years of service. Bob was a skilled handyman, mechanically inclined, and adept at home repairs, plumbing, electrical work, and was a fixer of appliances. He was a highly sociable person and enjoyed conversations with friends and strangers alike. Bob also loved to golf and even scored a hole-in-one at age 78. He was a staunch Notre Dame football fan and rooted for the Pittsburgh Steelers, as well. Friends are welcome on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at PATRICK T. BRADY THOMAS A., Sr. Age 85, a Moon Township resident since 1957, passed away in the comfort of his home on Thursday, September 28, 2017. He was born in Johnsonburg, PA on January 31, 1932, one of four to the late Eugene and Naomi (St. Clair) Brady. On July 3, 1957, Tom married his beloved wife, Florence (Fritz) Brady, who survives him. They had a beautiful life with their five children: Rich Brady (Barbara) of Ridge, NY, Ken Brady (Andrea) of Ravenna, OH, Tom Brady, Jr. of Center Township, Ted Brady (Mary Beth) of Bethel Park and Diane Stetser (Bill) of Poland, OH. Tom was the cherished grandfather of Stephen (Nickie), Jason (Megan), Kevin, Erin, Brian, Shannon and Ryan; and proud great-grandfather of Hailey, Rebecca, Niko and Maya; brother of Patricia Malone of Maryland and the late Richard and Eugene (and surviving spouse Marcella) Brady; and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Tom graduated from Johnsonburg High School, Clarion State Teachers College and obtained his Master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He went on to serve in the United States Army during the Korean War. Tom taught Math at Moon Area School District for 35 years. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Church and served as an Usher. Tom followed all Moon sports, not only while his children were involved but as his students were participants. He was an assistant coach for Moon Baseball. He loved his job as a teacher and mentor of children. His children, when asking a question, would get an elaborate answer, hence the “teacher in him.” All his children feel that he was a great example and guided them all in the right direction. Tom was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers Fan and in his later years, enjoyed building puzzles. KUHN DALE K. Dale K. Kuhn of Avalon passed away at age 90 at Franciscan Manor. He, along with five of his brothers, answered the call to serve their country during World War II. He later served with the Army in Germany during the Korean Conflict. He was married to the former Barbara Reed for 62 years. He worked for Bell Telephone for most of his adult life. He wore bow ties that coincided with special occasions and preferred ones that lit up. He and Barbara enjoyed dressing up as Mr. and Mrs. Santa at Christmas time and spreading holiday cheer to young and old alike. He loved to tell jokes to anyone he met along the way. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara and an infant son, Ronald Lee. He is survived by his daughter, Carol (Frederick) Mathis; son, Keith (Patricia) Kuhn; six grandchildren, Abbie (Nathaniel) Lieberum, Brian (Jennifer) Mathis, Christy (Louis) Viola, Benjamin (Cristen) Kuhn, Joshua (Ryann) Kuhn, Lisa Mathis; and five great-grandchildren, Andrew and Kaitlyn Mathis, Antonio and Nina Viola and Grace Lieberum.
